Student Partnership Agreement
The Student Partnership Agreement (SPA) outlines mutually agreed priorities and actions for delivering measurable and tangible improvements to the student experience.
About the program:
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about Chinese culture, and economy and visit some of the beautiful places in Chengdu and the wider Sichuan province.
Fees and funding:
The host institution will cover the programme cost, accommodation and internal travel. Students must fund their flight, visa cost, covid test cost and expenses. We have limited funds to support a small number of UK-domiciled undergraduate students to attend this programme. The funding is aimed at providing an overseas experience for students who have not previously travelled abroad for work or study and faced personal circumstances that restrict their ability to travel overseas. The funding will be used mainly to pay for the return flight, visa, covid test, and expenses. Students who are not eligible for funding will have to self-fund the trip.
Duration:
26 June to 8 July 2023.
Application process:
Applications will be ranked according to how well they meet these criteria. You should ensure that you answer all questions fully, providing clear and quantifiable evidence of barriers to working/studying abroad.
Complete the online registration form and shortlisted candidates will be notified by the SWUFE Global Academy committee within two weeks after the application deadline.
Successful applicants will be required to sign the Terms and Conditions form (attached for information only) at a later date.
Deadline:
The closing date is Friday 14 April 2023 (5.00 pm). We aim to carry out the selection process quickly to meet the deadline set by SWUFE of 25 April 2023.
Contact Person:
The forms should be returned to Elaine Leong at swufe@dundee.ac.uk.
